Abstract

This work applies cybernetic principles to marketing in order to develop a novel theoretical framework for political economy and economic theory. The framework is intended to provide a conceptual foundation for future economic research and contribute to a deeper understanding of economic systems. This technical text is creating a theoretical paradigm, which appeared as a result in order to understand the consumption of demerit goods. The cybernetical dynamic is working as a scientific explenation. This paper synthesizes cybernetic systems theory, behavioral economics, and Spenglerian cultural morphology to explain the persistent market success and societal normalization of intrinsically destructive consumer goods. It argues that marketing functions not as a peripheral persuasive mechanism but as a constitutive, autopoietic control system within capitalist economies—one that transforms moral resistance into stabilizing feedback, thereby institutionalizing ambiguity tolerance and systematically reproducing the structural conditions of late civilizational circularity.
