Abstract

The right to withdrawal is one of the most important and newly developed legal guarantees that the legislator has granted to the consumer, who is regarded as the weaker party in the contractual relationship. It is a power exercised by consumers within a predetermined legal timeframe to reconsider the contract that they have concluded. It aims to protect them from all forms of deception and fraud that may occur to them as a result of not seeing the subject of the contract. However, this right cannot be exercised for all contracts as the law has excluded certain contracts from its provisions. Therefore, I tried through this research paper to address the right to withdrawal in some detail.
